Specific conditions (psychological disorders) that have been successfully treated at our centre include School refusal, anxiety, anger management, intervention for ADHD, Intervention for Specific Learning Disorders such as dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia. With varying degrees of success we have also been able to put together a unique programme for children with autism and autism spectrum disorders. This intervention is based on two rather new yet important aspects of development namely social cognition and Theory of Mind (ToM). This intervention considers the development of social cognition and attempts to build it in a clinical population known to have deficits in this area.
